After a short hiatus, we're back at it. I've received many requests for more elevated basket patterns so I was able to get Eric to make another one which is a large oval. The pattern is designed to be used with 3/4" wood but with a little editing, 1/2" wood can be used.I will have him make a few more in the future to complete the collection. I may also put up some more vase designs. Feel free to design your own brackets for the vase patterns or the basket patterns. You only need to have it be 3/4" wood and it will fit in our pattern. Send them in if you want them on the site.

A new design to the traditional scroll saw basket. Simply cut and place inside the holders. These baskets have a modern look, yet are simple to cut. To achieve the best look, use a different type of wood for the holders than you use for the basket frame. Also, if you do not wish to make the holders, this pattern works like normal baskets, just weave the octagon back and forth.

Here is a collection of scroll saw baskets. Feel free to enlarge or reduce the pattern to the size you wish, and cut with whatever thickness wood you like, although I prefer 1/2" because it seems to look nicest in the end. Stop back soon for more free patterns.
